Brave Expands Advertising Platform to Mobile Devices and Launches Brave Ads Certified Vendor Program


Two months after launching the primary advertising platform built on privacy for its desktop users, Brave is making it available on its Android app. Users who consent to viewing privateness-preserving advertisements are rewarded with 70% of the ad income share in Basic Attention Tokens (BAT).

Brave Ads: Opt-In, Private, and Relevant


When a user opts into Brave Rewards (click on the triangle on the right of the URL bar in the Brave browser app), they begin seeing Brave Ads and accumulate BAT, which they'll declare on a month-to-month foundation via the built-in pockets in Brave. Users can customize how many adverts they’d wish to see (1 to 5 per hour), or choose to not see any ads. 

Users can donate the BAT earned from viewing Brave Ads to their favourite websites, YouTube creators, or Twitch streamers. Soon they may also be capable of redeem BAT for real-world rewards, such as hotel vouchers and present certificates through TAP Network’s 250,000 model partners. 

Brave Ads don’t exchange present Web web page adverts, they are separate and uniquely totally different. Users see them as offers in the form of notifications. When user click to have interaction with these notifications, they’re offered with a full page ads in a new ad tab of the Brave browser. Because advert matching happens instantly on the user’s gadget, the user’s information is rarely sent to anyone, together with Brave.
